My teams started the season out just about as good as you can. I am so freakin stoked baseball is BACK.
Headed up to PHX tomorrow to take my Mom to the DBacks game. Her first time. I have been 4 or 5 times now, but it looks like they’ll have the retractable roof open this time, always been a closed stadium on my previous visits so that’ll be really cool to see. The evening skies here are the best you’ll see so I’m sure it’ll be a killer night at the ballpark.

Went to tune into the Diamondbacks/Dodgers game last night…
To find that the game had been delayed due to a colony of bees forming on the field!
They called in an emergency apiarist (bee keeper) to sedate and re-home the bees. They drove him out onto the field like a superhero, lol.
After he finished the job, they invited him to stay and throw out the ceremonial first pitch, which I think was really cool to do. Imagine going to your job like any other day, and then you’re moving bees in front of a crowd of 20,000.
Then the DBacks won it on a 2-run walk-off dinger.
