MLB. Last Oakland As game at the colosseum today. Sad as this team has been in my life personally since I met husband over 9 years ago. He had season tickets for 20+ years until we moved further North 5 years ago. All games attended were filled with joy. Just for a few hours all outer world issues were set aside. I miss that. Go Oakland Athletics! Thanks for the good times.

Been really bummed out about this, especially after visiting the stadium a few weeks ago. I’m glad I did, but man I feel bad for those fans. Just saddens me as a fan of the history of the game as well - the A’s are a classic franchise.

I also hate that the MLB scheduled the last Oakland home game for a weekday afternoon :rage:
Really needed to be a Friday or Saturday night.

I have to agree. Mid week day game not the best send off. But wow stadium has been full last night and today.

Barry Zito sang the National Anthem today. Stupid but I teared up.

So im a steelers fan and this year i really thought we would be pure trash . No real qb and just the way they looked during preseason .but 3 -0 They are truley playing steelers football and with the trashy bangles and browns well the only team that can turn shit around is the ravens but overall steelers are looking soild! I wont have my hopes built up on Christmas day but ill be in Pittsburgh for the kc game!!!
