the first pic, I remember taking and feeling so dead inside, saying I wanted sobriety after I took it.
And then I see today’s pic, my mind tries to tell me I don’t really look different. Like I haven’t gotten any better. It’s crazy I went to bed fine, woke up completely in a funk. I look deep into the second pic, and I can see I am definitely way more alive.

awwww yeah! I collect records too, and somehow I have 0 Slayer. I need to fix that. Have a few early Metallica albums and a few Death records though.

like the vinyl? My 34 yo son is all about the vinyl, and tried to convince me that analog sounds so much better than digital, and I should get a turntable and vinyl.
I pointed out the flaw in his thinking: I wear hearing aids. Everything I hear is digital.
