Sugar boycott

I only drink my coffee in the morning because otherwise I can’t sleep. Don’t you have problems with that after work?

Start weaning off with a mix of half caf. That’s how I did it. Don’t want to go cold turkey with caffeine, you may get bad headaches.

I have started using a little unsweetened coconut milk in my coffee instead of black, I like it!

Iced decaf Americano from Starbucks (and I’m sure most coffee places) is amazing. Or pour over decaf. But I agree I tend to try to switch it up but then i end up just drinking more caffeine because I start craving it regardless.

:astonished: I could not do it with so short amount of sleep.
Below 6 houres of sleep I turn into a witch, a very bitchie one :hugs:

:joy::joy: My attitude is definitely questionable with only 4hrs sleep, got to be done though my boys dad isn’t around to help out and it’s still early in my new relationship, we don’t live together

So Ive been working hard to find a balance with diet and exercise for the past few months and Ive made some good progress. I wasnt sure if keto would support a consistant exercise routine. I tried a few different things, experimented with targeted carbs etc. Felt pretty awful doing that tbh.

Turns out keto is absolutely fine with a fairly high level of exercise. I just eat way more of the same food and its great (a lot of avocado🥑). I appreciate its different for everyone, but for any in a similar position, I have found keto and exercise can work very well together.

I can go as high as 40-50g net carbs now and maintain ketosis and if I have a carb refeed meal im back in within 24 hours without any issues. Its great to have that metabolic flexibility. Ive been eating this way for 18 months.

How are you all getting on?

Whole new side of brave baby!

Well, orange juice, fruit and fruit cups are full of sugar…so there is that. But brownies are much yummier!

Fruit, yes. The others, not really.

It’s hard, but I’m trying to move away from it!
