Nice to see everyone! Just wanted to share that at my work holiday gift exchange this morning I got fluffy socks (Yay) & stuffed inside was a mini bottle of WINE! There was also a candle… But anyway, I immediately thought “I can NOT put this in my purse or take it home”. I could imagine the taste of it and was ready to just untwist that cap and take a swig. But I gave it away to a coworker instead. She was happy to have it. Whew… That was a close one. It’s a little bit after noon here & I’m already ready to go home!!

Omg thank god u r strong my friend. I had a0 simler thing happen on my birthday a lady at work got me a bottle of wine even though she new I don’t drink … she said a bottle won’t hurt cos it’s my birthday. My mum had to come and collect it cos I was frightened of the temptation. Some people just don’t think or understand our struggle x

Thankfully I could hand it off without offending anyone. So thankful I’m far enough along to have resisted. A few months ago this could have totally thrown me off!

Hiya everyone.
I’m a postman in england and so far this Christmas period I’ve been given 3 bottles of wine 1 bottle of vodka and an expensive bottle of champagne. 
. Apparently my customers never received the memo about me kicking the drink into touch. 
These will now be drank by my wife and her friends over the festive period.
I rarely used to drink at home but it got me thinking what am I going to drink?
Orange juice sparkling water and that grape juice is it called shloer? I might treat myself to some fancy teas and coffees. Haha I can afford these days 24 without smoking or drinking.

It was a bit of a surprise. This is my first Christmas at this job. I would have never thought of putting alcohol in the gift. I did fancy chocolates for my part. There were some other cute ideas. I think the one who brought it is a very high functioning alcoholic. But that’s her business. Anyways…I’m thankful I had the presence of mind to get rid of it right away.

I was in bed early so I woke up and fell back to sleep ! My sleep isn’t great at moment not sure why ! Think its cos I’m a few weeks into not taking my sleeping meds ! How’s things with you x

I’m good thanks, in looking forward to Christmas. I pushed the boat out a bit and for everyone sine awesome presents, just wanted to show how much I appreciate them putting up with me and standing by me I suppose. What sleep medication were you taking if you don’t mind me asking. I hope your sleep gets better soon.

Morning, if you can manage without meds for sleeping that’s fantastic. I’m sure your mind and body will catch up to the idea. My sleep has always been crap but I’m getting 4 or 5 hours uninterrupted now which is great for me.
