this test is that i’m selecting the second option of view voters. you may be seen by all, can you let me know if you see the results of who chose what?

What’s your favorite dad joke?

  • What do you call a fish wearing a bowtie? Sofishticated
  • Dear Math, grow up and solve your own problems
  • Why don’t eggs tell jokes? They’d crack each other up
  • What do you call someone with no body and no nose? Nobody knows

Yes, I can see the results. So far me and @Tragicfarinelli chose the same option and no one else has voted yet.

Winter is like a portal, I heard this recently, and I thought to myself, what I nice concept, and accurate. Winter is not the time to be in action, but in reflection. I decided to view it this way to help my sobriety. I recently thought to myself how much I need a rehab, to be locked up somewhere where the only thing I work on is my sobriety. Instead, I will view winter as a portal, where I decide to focus on just getting sober, and we’ll see what is on the other side in March.

Methodology: Draw tarot cards from The Mythicc Tarot (just kidding, it’s spelled Mythic). Draw by asking: what is on the other side of the portal for couleur.

Shuffle, but not like:

More like a cooler version of:

In a second post, I will explain the cards a bit more. Observations.

When you come out the other side of the purple portal :purple_circle:, you meet the Two of Wands.

The Two of Wands is a new aim, new goal, creative project. It’s not in its final shape of the future, but its full of potential and enough to lure one out of present confines into something new. Bravery is in order here, individual courage to take the new idea up, have faith, you had this vision. One idea leads to another. Whatever it is, it takes us out of our caves. Believe in your visions.

When you come out the other side of the Blue portal :large_blue_circle:, you meet the Three of Pentacles.

The Three of Pentacles is a time of early success in some material endeavour. A project earns profit, remember not always about money, but profiting in some way. important at the beginning of something to motivate to keep going.

When you come out the other side of the Green portal :green_circle:, you meet the Eight of Wands.

The Eight of Wands is action after a difficult period, delay or struggle. Travel may be implied, or in a space of being able to let creativity flow. Your imagination is unchecked after being anxious for some time. A release of energy of sorts, a sailing back home.

When you come out the other side of the Brown portal :brown_circle:, you meet the King of Cups.

The King of Cups is the duality of being a gifted healer, who can empathize with others, but not trust life to take its own course. Maybe once wounded in the past, they wish to help but they have relationships of control, because they are not wanting to hurt again. The wounded healer archetype

When you come out the other side of the Red portal :red_circle:, you meet the Queen of Wands.

The Queen of Wands is fire in the heart, and focusing on things that ignite your heart, being loyal to those things. A dual dynamic of being loyal in love and, yet have the strength ingenuity and tireless energy to rule her own world, and needing no shoulder to lean on. There are no titles to give her, she knows her worth. Develop qualities of warmth, constancy, loyalty to sustain a creative vision. Magnetic, full of warmth and life archetype.

  • There are two groups in the Mythic Tarot deck, Major and Minor Arcanas
  • All chosen representing portals were from Minor Arcana
  • The Minor Arcana chosen are from the categories Cups, Wands and Pentacles. No Swords chosen, the last and fourth category.
  • There is no hierarchy, Kings are not ‘‘better’’, ‘‘higher’’, etc. than another

Minor Arcanas :

  • represent experiences in four different dimensions or spheres of life
  • they detail on a more personal level the journey
  • Numbered cards: the ordinary experiences of life which come to meet us through events, transactions with others, passing states of mind or feeling.
  • The court cards (King, Queen): embody character types, or dimensions of a perticular part of life that can be portrayed by human figures.
  • Not a gendered thing, but what the court cards represent, but more what energy they have, which is in every person.
  • Court cards may also represent actual people we know or meet in life, appearing in ones life.

Research the card to learn more. Dont worry if its chosen facing side up or down.

I picked the purple portal :purple_heart:. The breakdown feels spot on for what I may be dealing with…so interesting
