No, friend of mine from Grand junction drove me through the Durango mountains. Absolutely gorgeous. I did see the train arrive in Silverton when we were there!

We use to live right by the James Ranch. You had to have driven by it.

I cannot drive that Million Dollar Highway. Too scary for me. I freaked out. Good thing the wife was with me.

We did some awesome jeep tours up there.

Taking a short holiday. One bike ride and three trains so far. A ferry and a short bike ride to go.

Fingers and knees and toes crossed for you to have the very best time. You deserve a rest and break. Be sure to treat yourself to nice food and good coffee and pastries. Lots of riding and walking, fresh Fresian air. Take lots of pics.
