I completely agree. The same amount of muscle weighs three times the amount of fat. The number on the scale does not reflect this.
It really should be more about how you feel in your body. Itā€™s sad to think that a number on a scale can ruin someones day.

Canā€™t wait to get back into this thread. My goal for this week was to start incorporating exercise :slight_smile: I donā€™t even want to know my weight is at this point lol. But thatā€™s ok. Progress not perfection :slight_smile:

Weighed myself this morning and forgot to post haha I have gained 7 lbs since January 2022. Iā€™m sure some if this is due to getting clean but stillā€¦ starting exercise tmrw anyway! Canā€™t wait :slight_smile:

Iā€™m down 9lb since I stopped drinking 33 days ago. Iā€™ll be back in the healthy weight range by the summer at this rate.

Iā€™m 6ā€™3, I stopped drinking 2 months ago and Iā€™m down to 290lbs from 307lbs

I wonā€™t stop till I hit 220lbs. But I look forward to every 5lbs I shed.

Down 5.6 pounds in 16 days of being sober and kicking my butt in my home gym and eating the healthiest I ever have in my life! I feel phenomenal, so happy and energized. For years I would describe myself feeling so malnourished and just awful because of the nonstop binge drinking and eating. 16 days sober from alcohol and not a single binge! :black_heart::muscle:t2:

Only lost .8lbs in 1 week. Hoping to see some greater weight lost this weekā€¦if only I can stick to eating healthy and drinking more waterā€¦ instead of adding crazy calories by drinking sugary drinks haha

Oh my gosh all! I just weighed myself and with just cutting out alcohol and allowing myself to responsibly indulge food cravings, I lost 6 pounds in 50+ days! No extra steps, no workouts. If that doesnā€™t motivate me to not pick up I donā€™t know what will. Onward folks! :muscle:t3::clap:t3::heart:

Down to 214.4 from a high of 270 with the help of gastric sleeve surgery in Dec. Not out of breath going up stairs anymore. Going down stairs is easier mobility wise.
