Weightloss CHECK IN : dont give up (Part 1)

Thank you Dana I actually haven’t started my exercise routine back up again yet but I think it’s because I’m not eating as much as used to for comfort etc. I’m planning on going back to the gym and starting soon once I get used to my new work schedule. Proud of you! :sunglasses::metal:t2:

Started a new weightloss journey, and I hope you don’t mind if I join here. I went from 195-217 in three months :flushed: :fearful: and this is almost the heaviest I’ve ever been (I think I topped this when I was actively binge drinking). I’ve started eating better and trying to exercise more regularly. My short term goal is <200, my medium term goal is 190, and my ultimate goal is 175-180. Hoping to stay accountable here!

So here we go: checking in 217 lbs.

I started wanting to loose weight for a quinceñera and a wedding coming up in August and September. Now I want to loose weight to be healthier over all and for self love. Day 1 at 152.6

My goal weight is 140 but long term would be 135.

Wish me luck :four_leaf_clover:.

Dang. I haven’t been to a quince in a minute. I was in a couple of quince’s back in my teen days. Those were fun! I’m going to my lil niece’s in November.

You got this. Especially if you’re cutting out the booze. Just be patient with it. One day at a time.

Am so close to being in the 60s again (of kg) I have been WELL into the 70s for so long! I also managed to get some swimming shorts and jacket for about 10 dollars in a second hand shop that actually fit, which was great, but man why do changing room mirrors and lighting made you look so bumpy and jiggly? :sob:

Sounds like we are all really close in current weight @Misokatsu and @Lovelyoutlook

And yes, changing rooms always make me feel awful! They must realise that people are put off buying clothes

So true!! I don’t like changing room mirrors! I like the one at home .

Hi Everyone, I hope I can join here as well. In the past 10 years of heavy drinking, I’ve gained approximately 45lbs :slightly_frowning_face:. I have lost a little in the past year, but seemed to plateau. When I reset back on June 10 for alcohol, I was 177lbs. As of today, I’m 177lbs . I’m hoping checking in here will help me reach my goal of 140ish.

Day 1- 177.0 :purple_heart:

Clocking in at 211. Six pounds down from the Dr’s office weigh in! Ok, ok, different scales, not wearing shoes this time, probably some water weight… But I’ll take the win.

Almost there. After some jo-joing etc. (not a lot of kg up and down, but enough to lose A LOT of lean muscle) I’m around 60kg. Which is ok. It would be ideal if I lost 2 more, but my priority now is to gain some muscle and tone my body. It was great while I was regularly going to the gym (with a personal trainer), but I had to stop, ‘cause I couldn’t organize myself and also because it was getting too expensive. And, after all, one cannot be so lazy as to always have someone to push him. I have to do it by myself.
Anyhow, my summer swimming routine starts today.
