Day 2 of healthy eating
I am actually shocked with myself. Yesterday I didn’t consume any added sugars and my total carb count was at 45 net grams. I actually felt pretty good all day, focused, and had energy. I saved my actual carbs for supper where I measured out some corn and a few slices of potato. This is what put my carbs up abit higher than wanted but 45 net grams of carbs is still quite low which is what I’m aiming for. I definitly had restless legs tho last night (which I found out is from a lack of electrolytes so that’s an easy fix). Overall i feel good! I feel like I’m on the right path. I had my Keto Bulletproof Coffee and a protein filled breakfast this morning.

Day 3 of eating healthy and exercise:
Idk if this is all in my head… but eating low carb is incredible! I count Net Carbs (Total carbs minus fiber). Today I ate 28 grams of net carbs. I don’t crave sugar or don’t even crave food. I used to eat for many reasons and had many bad habits related to food. Doing keto has stopped my bad eating. I actually have to eat bcuz my caloric intake is low (yet I’m not even hungry). I am listening to my body more and have even been drinking more water! I drink 2 x 8 oz glasses of homemade electrolytes a day and about 100oz of water a day and I feel great! I don’t miss carbs and I don’t miss sugar. My caffeine consumption has dropped in half bcuz I truly dont need it. I am focused and energetic and happy… Like wtf?! The only issue I have is getting my protein up high enough as I heard that it’s important to meet ur protein goals. I try my best but I’m still coming up short :frowning: I will need to work on that

Day 6 of my keto lifestyle. That ā€œketo fluā€ is what I seem to be experiencing but it’s really not too bad (some fatigue and dizziness and mild headaches - which have gone away). I’m sticking to it. I have done so well on my eating these past 6 days but I meed to incorporate some keto snacks. Found 1 for parmesan crisps, keto brownies, keto lemon bread, homemade keto icecream, and keto loaded Cauliflower. All look good! I’m excited for Monday to see where I am with my weight. But so far things are good!

Agreed! Keep going. It can take years, but your health is your wealth.

I have had to go on a low fat diet thanks to bad cholesterol, so am now eating vegan and cut out a lot of snacks and bread. The weight is falling off! Not sure how sustainable that loss is but I am not hungry at all. I have lost 3lbs since Tuesday and now only just in the overweight category

I weighed in at 183lb today which is 13lb less than when I first stopped drinking. So pleased!

Monday weigh check in:
Today I weighed in with a 9.4 lb decrease since last Monday. Keto has been working well for me and this week was probably alot of water weight (even tho I am drinking around 100oz a day of H20). I also have not binged eaten once since starting keto (altho I did overeat one time). I feel good! Not hungry or anything. Just needing some keto snacks to curb that odd sweet tooth haha

Thank you Dana I actually haven’t started my exercise routine back up again yet but I think it’s because I’m not eating as much as used to for comfort etc. I’m planning on going back to the gym and starting soon once I get used to my new work schedule. Proud of you! :sunglasses::metal:t2:

Started a new weightloss journey, and I hope you don’t mind if I join here. I went from 195-217 in three months :flushed: :fearful: and this is almost the heaviest I’ve ever been (I think I topped this when I was actively binge drinking). I’ve started eating better and trying to exercise more regularly. My short term goal is <200, my medium term goal is 190, and my ultimate goal is 175-180. Hoping to stay accountable here!

So here we go: checking in 217 lbs.
