Does anyone know where I can buy Kombucha in the UK?
I think I’ve found it only once in Morrisons!

I think I’ve found it only once in Morrisons!
My Sainsbury local has the Nexba ones, other than that Holland and Barrett have a few types. I sometimes buy a box from the Nexba website.
I’m really into kombucha nowadays and have been making my own at home too.
I’m not brave enough to try to make it
Same with me here. Actually, I’m a LaCroix boy, but all those sparkling waters are great.
I know, right? Same goes for decaffeinated coffee.
I do have decaf tea because making a brew is something to do and drink during the day and I can’t have that much cafffeine nowadays; only a small spoon of coffee once a day
I went through the fizzy water stage, and the squeeze in water flavor stage. I was also partial to POM juice mixed 50/50 with water. Now, it’s coffee in the morning, plain water the rest of the day, unsweetened iced tea or cola if we go out, which isn’t that often with my new work schedule.
When I go out - rarely in the last couple of years - I usually have sarkling water, virgin mojito, lemonade or a nice bottle of ginger ale, when I’m lucky to find one that’s not sweet (or at least, not too sweet).
At home I drink loads of coffee (“normal” in the morning, decaf later during the day), as I always have, tea, plain water and an occasional diet soda.
In the morning - coffee
During the day - water
In the afternoons, sometimes - Agrum soft drink or OJ
When I go “out” - coke-a-cola or a lemon-lime-bitters; if I’m splurging and being a bit fancy - a mocktail
Every night - water
And I wake up feeling good; no hangover!! Woohoo
Ooooh, I adore kombucha, but in my town - and in the towns nearby - it’s rather difficult to find a good brand. I also like kvas (I don’t know if it has a specific name in English; we use the Russian word). It’s loaded with vitamin B - good for you - as well as calories - bad for people like myself
… coffee… still a lot of coffee
I went thru a seltzer phase for almost a year but think that is passing. Now mostly water and a cup of tea at night.
If/when I go out it’s usually a soda water with lemon.
Ginger is one of my favorites!
About 95% water. But truthfully for past 25 years I was about same unless it was drink night.
1 coffee in morning… pretty boring stuff.
I’m always good for about 3-5 litres per day.
I’m the same. My most common beverages, outside of alcohol time, is water and coffee. Every now and then ginger beer, or hot tea. And super rare: flavored bubble water. Usually someone brings it to me?
I drink 3-4Liters of water a day but at night I love to drink a Grapefruit Sparkling Ice water for flavor
I love these
Water mostly which has always been my main go to drink either way. Little bit of coffee when i wake up but that’s all. Really not much changed in that regards
Just discovered these. They’re pretty good to unwind with. I’m willing to try anything that says calming. Not much sugar. May 3-5 grams
Ooooo…I sure DO like to know about stuff like this Eric!
Now I’m going to have to get me some
You’ve sort of pulled me back from the abyss so I thank you for that. In all honesty, I’m not sure WHY I haven’t been interacting lately??? I think it’s almost like, there’s too much to catch up on so I just keep saying “next time you get a chunk of time, read through” but then what I’ve missed gets bigger and bigger and it feels harder and harder to catch up, so I just leave it.
Life has been a bit hectic and overwhelming lately too. My father in law got a non hodgkins lymphoma diagnoses and my husband has been taking it hard. Since been trying to be supportive. That and work life really RAMPING up this last month has taken up a lot of time.
I REALLY appreciate you reaching out as it seems what I needed to jump start me. I DO hope everyone has been doing well here
Now…since ve hijacked this thread with my nonsense…let me at least post some food. Here’s a GF pasta with olive oil, garlic and shallot, chicken sausage and broccoli rabe with a little Parmesan and lemon to finish
And a grazing board from when my friends came over with their four kids the other day. From what I can see that might be challenging to identify from bottom left: coconut rolled dates, hazelnut wafer cookies, Mexican wedding cookies, babybel cheese, fruits and veggies, an Armenian yogurt dip, cornichons, GF crackers and smoke cheddar.
Sending you love and appreciation today Eric and all
