Resting, Feeling a little better today.

I listened to chapter 3 of the Big book. Its good defenses against the first drink. Its my favorite chapter.

I have been participating here.
I decided to try and use all my
today. It says I only have a few left, so mission accomplished. I used to run out of likes here all the time.
I’m feeling much better today. Not 100% but much better.
I’m caught up on sleep, and rest.
Bad weather break from fishing is still going. I haven’t heard from work yet.
I’m going to work on my gifts of recovery projects today.

- Remembering to stay active in my recovery even though times are really good right now. It can all change in the blink of an eye if I don’t stay on top of it.

- write down a list of new habbits I want to develop to replace the old ones like read instead of watching TV or go for walks or do chores instead of scrolling my days away- way too much screentime going on
- work on a better sleep schedule
Solid plan! The social media/doomscrolling is definitely easy to fall into. I did that in the very beginning. But then I would getting nothing else done. I can’t wait to get my baby back on the road. I refuse to expose her to anymore Midwest winters lol. You’re doing great friend. ![]()

Avoiding social media at all costs. Got everything i needed for a couple days yesterday so I wouldnt have to go to the store again for a while.
Wasnt my most “active in sobriety” day but im still sober!

Going to orientation at my partial hospitalization program today.
Checking in with my therapist afterwards.

Participating here. Even though a drink feels far away, I want to keep it that way.
Being more active here again is good for me. I almost got busy and didn’t post.
I got up early and did my morning meditation. I Started my day with recovery first.
I have been cleaning and organizing. While I clean and organize, I reflect on my recovery and take personal inventory. I feel grateful for where I am, and I remember vividly where I was at the beginning of this journey.
I continue to set goals That I cannot achieve as a drunk.
The rain cleared up, and I’m about to go and film what is setting up to be an epic sunset.
Crabbing tomorrow. I will get everything I need while I’m out so I can come straight home and self care.
Today was log moving day and now being on TS. Reflected on past stupidity on a tractor…no need to do that shit anymore.
Will make some sauage & peppers for dinner & keep a warm fire going till bed.
