Toast, coffee and a smoothie.
Vegemite on toast!! 2 pieces with my coffee of course…
Coffee until noon.
Vegan meals from 12 to 8.
I usually do a huge first meal at 12, a light snack and a bigger supper. Portion vary considering my workouts of the day. If I do nothing they’ll be lower, but I sometimes carbs load for the next day so I have energy to train around 10:30 in the morning.
Seriously I just try to eat whole food, getting my protein, carbs and veggies/fruits in enough to fuel my days. Everything else is extra and has either to be ignored because it’s just a treat or cheat; or to be calculated if you’re trying to loose weigh and cutted down from other meals. Though the time restricted eating make it harder to eat too much. I like it because I can less care about the amount of food at each meals than if I was eating 5 times a day like I use too.
All this to say… what works now maybe won’t last and will change. Adaptation to your lifestyle and values is key
Cheese and a hard boiled egg. Sometimes a half a piece of toast.
Been really enjoying fresh fruit, some Greek yogurt and granola for my late breakfast/ early lunch lately.
What healthy starts to your days are you all treating yourselves too?
If im home and not traveling ill do a stack of pancakes French toast and eggs and bacon. But if im traveling for work im at the mercy of hotel breakfasts
Very yummy looking!!
I am on a similar kick of fruit, a little oats, maybe some cashews, flaxseed, kefir and greek yogurt for quite awhile now. Plus (decaf) coffee from my Nespresso (please don’t tell Aybee).
If I am going on a run, I just fuel with a banana and water + decaf.
Well you’re certainly not watching calories, lol. Talk about yum
Ive gotta have a full breakfast at home lol traveling takes it tolls so i get it in at home for sure to me its healthy because 1 im not drinking so its kinda healthy instead of the liquid breakfast
Too late.
You have brought shame to the exquisite house of coffee.
I think my heart is big enough to forgive you.
brb, checking heart.
Crap. I appreciate your benevolence.
My favourite yoghurt Fage (5g/100 fat and 9g/100 proteins, perfect IMO) with cashew, pistachios, almonds, walnuts (mini handful of each), some dates or dried fruits + honey.
Yum!
Coffee(lots) and cigarettes as a starter, I know I’m definitely not winning any awards for a healthy breakfast
I’m a believer in breakfast being the most important meal of the day so I never without. Plus eggs are my favorite food. My go tos are 2 poached eggs over spinach with smoked salmon, banana egg pancakes (just blend 1 egg/1 banana and add a Tbsp of any kind of flour and fry like pancakes), and overnight oats if I’m thinking ahead for a busy morning.
Today tho, omelet with broccoli, tomatoes, mushrooms, and all the cheese (pro tip: add cream cheese…it’s a game changer)
Side note…why? We know it’s a tomato We don’t have to be reminded 3 times
Ha! And a Canadian tomato at that
This omlet looks so good…
I’m planning to eat more savory breakfast but I’m so used to sweet ones it’s really a challenge. I want to believe I would have less appetite for sweets if I start the day with some for example omlet.
That looks delicious! I love eggs, I have mine at lunch with avocado.
I’m not huge on sweets in general, but I have heard that eating them at breakfast is the best time bc you have the rest of the day to burn it off. Don’t know if that’s true, but hope it makes you feel better
@SassyRocks I could eat eggs every meal of the day. I’m still trying to convince myself that I like avocado. I did enjoy it mashed on toast with scrambled eggs on top.
It varies for me…
Cold cereal
Open face pb&j on toast
Hummus on toast
Yogurt with trail mix and chia seeds sprinkled on
An occasional donut
