We have no idea how the break happened. There were no other injuries so the vet thinks it very unlikely he was hit by a car and no bite marks, so not a dog or fox. They think he must have trapped it whilst climbing or jumping. We have a large dog crate that I’ve padded out, he needs to be in this most of the time we’re not there, to stop him weight bearing or trying to jump up on any furniture. Considering he’s such an outdoorsy cat, he’s doing well so far!

@Alisa having some light for your aging kitty at night makes sense to me. Eye problems happen with age. Even though cats have good night vision, I would definitely rather err on the side of caution.
