August Plank Challenge

Day 3: :white_check_mark:
Yesterday 20 seconds seemed endless, I did it after my workout, seemed to be a bad idea.
Today 30 seconds were no problem at all :relieved:

I know! That’s nuts! I said earlier I would be astounded at 8 minutes and that guy did 8 HOURS!!

Image how long he’s spent training for that.
Even just trying to beat your previous record takes a third of a day!

Seriously, 5 minutes is a HUGE stretch for me. 8 HOURS…and the practice to get there…beyond, totally beyond, mind boggling! With hard rock blasting? I can imagine he is VERY good at disassociating.

Cant imagine that. I have to confess to muscles trembling a little at 30 seconds! Nonetheless - day 3 done.

No shame there! You are building core strength. Engage your glute muscles and don’t forget to breathe.

I woke up after midnight and read this thread. Out of curiosity, I tried a straight arm plank in bed. This is a first for me.

That’s incredible… His neck must have some crazy tension after that (along with his whole body). Plus, how did he pee.

Last night I came to realise that with straight arms you probably train different muscles than with elbows on the ground. So you could do both 30s

So true my skipping days are over :rofl::rofl:

I’m in, I usually does a 30 sec every day but this would be a great time to step up the game  I’ll do the forearm version, there’s no way I could make it otherwise.

It’s getting to that point where needs must :rofl:
