Day 553. Getting a bit stir crazy, I’m having to find new ways to entertain myself. I recorded a PSA about how to wash your hands. Washing your hands properly can save your life.

Stay beautiful gang!

But you are here and you are killing it!

All these lessons that sobriety has to teach us, and we are learning them.

Why was it sad?

Hope you’re getting some rest and relaxation in to help you recover quickly :sparkling_heart:

Preach :raised_hands: there is so much to learn! Sometimes it is bloody frustrating but often it is wonderful.

Big congrats on the 90 days! :sparkles::seedling:

Something else I’ve found is that it’s possible to keep on re-learning the same thing. Like these little realisations that remind you of what you’ve learned, and make you notice how your thinking has shifted since you learned it.

I guess that’s beginners mind, there is a real joy in that process of rediscovery and when it all makes sense, just for that moment.

713, I didn’t realize how stressed I was but having two solid days with just “every day” responsibility and not homeschooling or parenting responsibility added, has helped me chill the fuck out. Today I did laundry, washed my sheets, went grocery shopping, went to Staples to get different cables for my monitors, re set up my work station at home, went for a walk, did a live streamed Pilates workout, practiced some you tube dance tutorials which have been going surprisingly well, read and cooked. Oh and I worked tonight and stayed sober. Anyways that’s normal responsibilities and fun for me. Good night.

Congratulations @Quinny251!! :confetti_ball: Strange days isn’t it! But half a year is really something to celebrate for so glad you discovered
And have I missed your half a year @050Nl? :flushed:
Congratulations as well. Tough times sir, but you are doing it!

My compliments @Bob123! Still trucking along and adding those days, so happy for you!

Lot’s of milestones today! @CapriciousCapricorn congratulations with yours! For me I found the first 3 monts the hardest and you did those!

My condoleances @Bomdhil, sorry to hear about your friend.

This virus messes up everybodies lives including our well deserved holidays. Mine would be at the end of april. I’m Dutch and would go to Spain with my daughter. Maybe this helps you to strenghten your sober muscles @Dazercat. So when this all is over and normal again and you will come to visit my beautiful country you can do it without planning a relapse. Maybe something good will grow from out the bad: your sober life!!

Welcome here @Sucram100 🙋

But I respond anyhow: well done for your 75 days @AJR2019, you can do another day! :facepunch::confetti_ball::facepunch:

Welcome back @ravenstorm 🙋

@Chrispl well done for your 2 months :confetti_ball::confetti_ball::confetti_ball: and now I said it twice

Day 559:coffee:
The sun is shining and the sky is blue. It’s unreal that there something bad outside, but you can’t see it. Spring is still coming, Corona or not.
I’ve planted seeds from mango, avocado and other seeds I find in my food. The avocado has shown a little green spot now. New life growing.
Those small things makes me happy these days.
That and my family, health, work, my sober life, etc.
I have a lot to be grateful for
Picture from my tiny avocado plant:

Have a great sunday and find your own sparkles in the day :sparkles::sparkles::sparkles:

It’s hard, but I think most of the people get used to the new rules. I hope we can flatten the curve of the virus. Seeing strange photo’s of places like “Keukenhof” without tourists. Normally it’s crowded this time of year. It’s a huge park with all kinds of tulips and other kind of flower bulbs.
But now it’s closed like almost every tourist attraction.

Day 108! Pretty low key day today, like usually during social distancing :joy:. The best news is that I have a job interview coming up Tuesday, so I’m very excited for that!

Ye it’s so strange walking the dog at 10pm and literally feels like waking up to some apocalyptic event. My wife is a nurse and I work at a medical device company so trying to work from home but look after the kids at same time .

Just glad I’m not still drinking or I’d be the wanker walking the steet looking for a place to get a drink :flushed:
