day 9. really really tempted to enjoy a beer with tv and gaming… but holding out best I can. so easy to tell myself I’ll be able to stop … and maybe I could for 1 day. then the next day I would allow myself two. and by the third I’d be finishing off a half of vodka. best not give in… I think I can be strong. thanks everyone and gratz to all your similar small successes that lead to more alcohol free days.

I had this same problem and ended up going on YouTube to find out how to do it. I like your way though.

I’m so sorry to hear that about your sister. That really sucks. Things already suck enough right now. Hang in there. Do your best. If your willing, Try and go for a walk or some kind of exercise or meditation or something to make yourself feel a bit better. Your sister and you will be in my prayers.

Day 550. Doing alright today, glad the weather is decent enough to get outside. Have eaten half of my 18 month cake and stuck the other half in the freezer for another day.

It is hard thats for sure. But i did have some shredded belief this morning to get me back on here. Would have been doomed if not… only people that truly understand… thank you…

Day 116
Work starts on Monday, will be online at first. I wonder if my co-ordinators will want me to use Zoom a lot, I fear my children video-bombing or bellowing at me from off camera ‘can I have a sweet?’ ‘he/she hit me’ or ‘Youtube isn’t working’. Of course, grateful to still be employed.
Starting to feel a bit cooped up and wanting to escape for a bit, physically and mentally.

Day 766.
My last hello was on my 2 year soberversary a little over a month ago. It’s been a while and I had the impulse to come share some news so I am! 
I asked the universe for guidance of what I need to do next to grow and move forward…yesterday it literally fell into my lap. Today was my first day “meeting” with my sponsor to start my AA step work! I’m pretty excited for this next chapter, even though I did not see that coming…Plot twist!!!
It feels funny after 2 years of sobriety and knowing I don’t want to drink to NOW have a sponsor and do the steps but when you ask for guidance and it shows up it would be absolutely ridiculous to not take the opportunity presented. So, I’m trusting the signs and just going for it!
Still, so so so thankful for this crazy & beautiful clear sober life!

What a great gift to receive!!
Day 15. just breezed past 2 weeks. still doing the zoom meetings. they keep me grounded. been able to workout in my newly converted studio room in my house while isolated. got a call from the bank today. somebody tried to steal $1400 from my credit card. grateful that they caught it and I have other cards to use while i wait for my replacement. pumped some mad iron after that one lol 
. got my stimulus today which offers some peace of mind. have a great day everybody.
