Lost my friend today. I want to drink. I’m not saying I’m going to but I definitely want to and I’m just being honest about it. We used to party and drink at the nightclubs and have so much fun in my early 20’s before drinking became a problem for me. It feels like something I want to do to reminisce on the good times. However, I know I will over drink, I know it will make me feel worse, I know it help or change nothing. I’m just really sad at her untimely death from a drug I had no clue she’d ever partake in. I’m in shock. I can’t believe I lost one of my best friends.

Rest In Peace A.

@AnonymousD end of day 15 for me. When I start thinking about the next morning where I could drink… I re-focus on right now, just this day, this instant … and I’ll take care of tomorrow tomorrow.

Day 528. I’m struggling. I don’t know for sure why (lots of possibilities) or what to do (lots of options). I’m tired of being in this position. I’m not tempted to drink or anything, but I am feeling desperate. Tomorrow I’m going to try kick-starting myself again — it sometimes helps — taking a day focused on catching up, cleaning up, planning, preparing, self care, and jump in to the first big task with both feet, if I get that far.

Got meds adjusted too, we’ll see if that helps.
