Congrats on the sobriety and the oh so beautiful baby. Seeing numbers like yours make me so happy and I know it’s possible. That will be me in 3 years time and funny enough time does fly in sobriety so 3 years is right around the corner.

Visiting my mom and were talking im sober im doing great healthwise but financially or job related iam not stable cant find my spot out here for years so im deciding on Joining the Army i have an appointment with a Recruiter this Monday dont have my diploma so i would have to work on that first and then depending on what the military can offer me i will leave and become stable

I know that doing that is kind of pointless, but sometimes I can’t help it.
I guess that it’s a kind of punishment for myself for being the way I am.
Technically it’s still Day 74 but swiftly approaching 75. I am scatter-brained today. Going every which direction. Aagh! 
I think it’s pent up anxiety over friends who have been putting feelers out there about coming to stay with us - possibly long-term. This stresses me out to no end, but I also don’t want to say ‘no’. Heaven give me strength. Ai-yi-yi.

hey TS Feeling lonely today - been months since I hugged my boyfriend and wish I could contribute more to society. I miss life! How do you guys cope with late night anxiety and loneliness? Any tips? My bf turns his phone off At 9.30 which I respect but I feel like I have Another 4 hours awake where I practice self loathing.

Your getting the tattoo for yourself, not for anyone else. You don’t owe anyone an explanation about it, or anything in life for that matter. If people ask about it, just keep it short with little response and say it has no meaning, don’t go into detail or talk any further , most people won’t ask anymore. Don’t give them a reason to fluster you or get in your head. Remember, what other people think is none of your business and not important 
… I cant wait to see it when its finished!

Wonder why I always cruise the first 3 weeks of sobriety then start to crave I’m 5 weeks in and it’s getting frustrating feeling like I wanna drink only cos I choose not to remember how crap it feels after. Actually it’s more likely that I do remember but only think of the buzz over the hardship. Still havent drank and I wont cos I’m mad about wanting to it’s just hard. I know it’s not easy but bloody nora its maddening wanting to drink that shit. I’m off for a jog tomoro morning try run this shit off. Peace out

Wow. That’s a pretty major no looking back life decision. Have you really thought it over? I mean I totally respect your decision. Have you talked to other people about it?
