627 Days. I was still in a funk today and wanted to just go home after work to isolate (my normal go to in active addiction). But I’m the only one with a key to open tonight’s AA meeting. It turned out to be an amazing meeting. There’s nothing like be surrounded by a bunch of wonderful women that understand me. Some of them I haven’t seen in 15 months and some new ones just starting their sober journey. I never laughed so hard at a meeting and left feeling like a new person. If that wasn’t my higher power working in my favor, then I don’t know what it was. Happy to be ending another day clean and sober.

Checking in at the end of the night, I forgot we had funeral services for my grandfather today so I went to that and hung out with the family after which was very nice. I did my tattoo but it’s not finished yet, I was covering up a old tat so I have some blending to do still. Now I’m eating a sub, watching stand by me and going to bed sober. Tomorrow I will start my thread, I appreciate all the support. Love y’all hope you all had a good day

Hello everyone 
checking in on day 48. Back from a wonderful holiday in Portugal meeting my husband’s family after a long time due to covid. It was absolutely amazing and this time I wasn’t so annoyed at them being sober the whole time than last time. Last time being sober with them I was grumpy as hell… Had the feeling they all didn’t drink as much anymore. Hope everyone is fine on here. Keep up the good work and let the numbers grow. Wishing everyone a happy sober start into this day

Morning all ! 4 months sober today 
wow that’s a long time for me longest ever since I was about 15 apart from when I was pregnant. I know I still have a long way to go to keep on this journey. Feeling pretty happy right now . Going to celebrate with an hour at the gym lol before work - I don’t feel right with out an early gym trip at the minute !

Day 54. Tired and headachey still. Not sure why my body is struggling so much this week. Going to do 30mins of pilates/yoga before work though as I know it will make me feel better. Have great sober days all
