I am so fricken greatful for…
My sobriety
Awake before sunrise with energy to take on the day
I was able to understand and communicate that i want to be on the beach this early for trena minutos because he has to open the gate for me
Sitting her in the dark attempting to catch up on some of my regular threads…but no pressure if i dont.
This amazing vacation and its only day 4. I have a feeling after our 13hr excursion day and white water rafting the next day i will be saying “its ONLY day 7” lol greatful for 12 days of an adventure
Greatful hubby and i are communicating well and being patient with each other
We are headed to the rainforest today aka 4.5hr travel day
Thankful for dramamine even though it didnt last on the snorkling tour and i puked on our second 40min session
At least i could puke and wash up in the ocean
Atleast i wasnt puking from alcohol
Perspective, i laughed jovially last night as i thought if i told myself 1.75yrs ago while in active addiction that id be enjoying live music, having the time of my life, at a bar in tamarindo costa rica DRINKING a FRESCA…i wouldnt have believed it
Its amazing what can change when I put recovery first
Kinda miss my aa meetings but i can remain sober in the meantime
