I was going to post this, just popped in an old playlist but got a nice bonus with Beck.
Reminds me one of the summers I spent in Mexico, half working half taking some time to myself so to say. Division between wealthy Americans and the locals living in shacks, hardly finding enough rice and beans to eat yet against birth control. Stray animals, skin and bones…I didn’t go anywhere except food shopping. It was too difficult to digest. Instead, I would blast Dwight while cooking all day.
Wasn’t sure where to post this but it made me lol while I’m feeling yucky…
Rather than use this thread just to kvetch about Goat, I thought it would be good to share resources to help others occupy their time given the quarantining.
Of this, I am particularly fond of Leslie Mendelson. She has a new single out Medication that deals with pharmaceutical addiction and other similar issues. In talking about the song she said:
“I had a friend who struggled with anti-depressants for a long time,” Mendelson said about the song. “It eventually got so bad that she took her own life. It was a devastating loss. There are so many people dealing with this struggle, myself at times included. We are all trying to find a balance.”
