I know it isnāt easy saying goodbye. I hope you find peace.
Working on trying to say goodbye to some trouble of my own right now and damnā¦ it seems so easy at first. Then you get down to it and you have to either do it or continue to live in it. For this Goat, running away from things seems so much easier than just facing it. Damn.
As I sat to write this post ā the 25th anniversary. Scouring the set list to post something different. NOT THE SAME SONGā¦ MUST FEEL SOMETHING ELSE. The Encoreā¦ yeah. Black Muddy River into a Box of Rainā¦ we all need a Box of Rain to make all the sads from Black Muddy River go away, right? I fight. I push. I get the sads from Black Muddy Riverā¦ But I end up right back here.

@bootz - I canāt imagine all that must be going on in your heart and your head right now. So many emotions and memoriesā¦ My wish for you is that you can find space to sit with all of them as long as you need - and then let go of the ones that no longer serve you well. You are such a strong women and such an inspiration to me and to so many. Know how very much you are lovedā¦
