I’m willing to bet if someone were to resurrect one of the plethora of zombie threads dedicated toward his dumpster-fire of a life, he’d resurface like a good old Sesame Street Grouch.

All is good with me, still going strong, although slipping on the daily AA/zoom meetings. Perhaps this is my notice to get my focus straight.
I’ll be the big 6 0 soon, and I’ve been buried in UK company pension paperwork, even though I have no plans of retiring any time soon.

Life is not good for me right now, but at least I’m still sober. By now, I have figured out how to stay sober during life’s downs. This is something that we all have to learn because eventually, we will experience heart break, death, depression, anxiety, betrayal, etc. & we will have to stay sober. Part of becoming sober is learning healthy coping skills & using them during times of major distress.

My goodness - thank you for the mention! I’m doing really well. Back working as a public school counselor, and my boys are now 8 and 10. I pop on here occasionally, and it is so nice to see familiar names. I credit this forum to helping me get and stay sober, and I made some of the best friends of my life here. I’ll always be so very grateful!

I remember him. I don’t recall seeing him pop back in under another username. I think I remember @HoofHearted used to talk to him on here. He was a funny dude I remember!
