Another awesome thing to think about is that it is the sun that is hurtling through space. Our galaxy is traveling, but is spinning. As the sun travels, it is actually pulling earth along with it. We are not just traveling in a circle. We are traveling away from the sun, but are also being pulled toward it. If you were to view our solar system from a huge cosmic picture, you would view what looks like a shooting star with planets and asteroids spinning in a vortex around it.
Exactly how Ive imagined it makes sense and in the end, is a beautiful love story. (:

Since the very first International Space Station mission in 2000, NASA has been creating expedition posters usually featuring a group photo of the crew. These posters were used to advertise expeditions and were also hung in NASA facilities and other government organizations. However, when astronauts got bored of the standard group photos they decided to spice things up a bit.
