Jun. 7th mind blowing random thought of the day: The word “nimrod” was originally used to describe someone who was considered to be a skilled hunter, named after the biblical figure Nimrod found within the book of Genesis. The change in definition to mean dimwitted or moronic was popularized in 1932 due to a Bugs Bunny cartoon, in which he sarcastically referred to the hunter Elmer Fudd as a “poor little nimrod.”

I just learned that long distance runners need to wear nipple pads so their nipples don’t chafe and bleed… I couldn’t stop laughing when this guy told me about it…
yet ANOTHER reason why long distance running is the fucking worst.

Not quite true. I’m a distance runner. I’ve run marathons and half marathons. I used vaseline to minimize chaffing. There are some who use duct tape though.

Jun. 16th mind blowing random thought of the day: Many Germans celebrate Father’s Day by having oddly dressed men pull wagons filled with beer into parks and then drink until they pass out.

Side note: I bet that there were a few of you who did this on any given day.
