Hey everyone! I’m new here but I’m hoping talking with the community here can help me in what I’m starting to think might be an impossible task, me being sober . After RESET #8 on my sobriety timer, I’m starting to think I need some help. trying to kick 3 habits at once is HARD, but I know I need to quit drinking first and foremost… That’s what always leads to my gambling/smoking…

Glad you found us.
I couldn’t get sober until I sought help. It was way to hard for me to do alone. I slowly built up a great support system right here on TS. I now go to AA meetings and I don’t drink. It’s all one day at a time for me now. ODAAT

Have a good read around. Keep an open mind and don’t pick up that first drink. The only one that matters.

Welcome @Jdubz343 good for you for realizing you may need others support. Thats a strength in the game of getting sober. So glad you found us. This place and aa have given me a life i never knew possible 900some days ago. I started here being “sober curious” because i wasnt willing to admit i was an alcoholic but its almost freeing after coming to a realization hey maybe my old coping strategies dont serve me any more. The habits no longer fun and the negatives keep piling up.
