I completed 30 days in Jan and since then have been drinking around half of the months days. I’m starting again today at Day 1 with intentions of continuing a longer sober drive. Any encouragement or direction is welcomed. Thanks!

Have a good read around, here is a great community for support and knowing you’re not alone. Taking up hobbies, if you’re not already, is super beneficial too, keeping your mind busy. Hope you’re doing alright and being kind to yourself, sending positive vibes ![]()
There is a big difference between quit and quitting. When it comes to alchohol, or any other addiction for that matter. There is no in between. Quit means you’ve made a conscious commitment to never drink again no matter what, then do it. Quitting is denial plain and simple. Don’t waste your time. Either you drink or you don’t. Identify the issues that drive your addiction. Face them and resolve them. Make a plan and follow it step by step. Get medical and/or psychological help if you need it. There is no shame, only accomplishment. I made the commitment. I followed my plan. I quit. It truly changed my life for the better! My affect on other peoples lives is better. There is no going back. Stop hurting yourself and the ones you love, or don’t. It that simple. People who coddle addicts truly are not helping. It reinforces denial. It takes a personal commitment and inner-strength to achieve freedom from addiction. I wish you the best on your personal journey.
Keep going, and don’t give up! @WB77
