Hey everyone! I just found this app not too long ago. I’ve tried to quit drinking SO many times. I blamed everything else but myself for my reason to drink. I lost a 7 year relationship and was putting myself in a position to lose so much more. I’ve had enough. I have so many dreams in this life and alcohol is stealing them away little by little.
I’m hoping this app and community will help me stay accountable. Any suggestions or inspiration is much needed! Today is day one…AGAIN. I really want to do this for real this time.
You have come to the right place. This community is great with support and also tell it like it is when needed. My biggest suggestion and I’m sure you will get a lot is to stay busy. Line up things to do for when you’re bored. Walking and running are huge here in this community and the natural benefits of the sun are amazing for overall health. You can do it, commit and push yourself. The next coming days just think about 1 minute, one hour, 1 day at a time.
