AA is not a religious organization, but it is run by humans. It’s easy to get the impression that it is religious, because the people in AA come up with customs that originate in religious practice.
The AA General Service Office has published these pieces on the inclusiveness of the program for non Christians, non believers, doubters, free thinkers and fallen angels. These are the latest AA pamphlets, and believe me, they don’t come up with new ones too often. The God Word Many Paths To Spirituality

Many other recovery groups and traditions have virtual / online meetings as well - search around & they can usually be found fairly easily. Happy recovery!
I originally created this list with alcohol recovery in mind, others have added additional addiction resources over time. It is not a comprehensive list by any stretch.
